I remember Easter

When magic bunny sparkles caught our eyes

Watching rain clouds turn to sun
Both of us enraptured by a kiss
And like a page from a teenage Bible
The two became a one
I remember Easter in the sun

We all know time can change the way we feel
It can make some try to find a better deal
But a love that’s true is never bought and sold
It’s wrapped up tight just like this band of gold

Well I remember Easter
Though some things are not the same
All our friends have gone their separate ways
Yet, here’s another Easter with my one and only friend
I hope this happy Easter never ends
