This is based on a true story. Meryl and violinist Todd Reynolds parked on a street in New York City to grab something to eat. When they returned they found that Meryl's car had been broken into. Some of the contents in the car were stolen. Mainly, all of Todd's clothes and his two very expensive violins. They both frantically went searching for the stolen goods. Though they never found the violins they did see some homeless people wearing Todd's clothing. What could they do? I remember Todd coming back to the Sonic Underground Studios lamenting over the loss of his instruments. Man, I never saw a guy cry so much. It was a deeply sad moment but one where I learned how to be more compassionate to my fellow man. -JT
