This song was inspired by my relationship with Susan DeVita and the idea that when people become angry they can literally make light bulbs burn out. I've done it. Chris Pati's done it. JIm Dexter does it all the time and he's the most easygoing person I know. I wonder what's really going on inside Mr. Dexter...

Musically, it opens with a minor 6 sharp eleven chord and ultimately this chord pulls us down a half step for the out chorus. The modulation is pretty smooth and if ya not trained you won't know it I was proud. It's a dark tune that showcases a few sounds from the Casio CZ 5000. I messed with the DX Oberheim drum machine in order to get the snare to sound like a bulb being smashed. I wasn't successful but the intentions were good. Composer Jeneane Claps told me she liked this piece and even sang it in the right key. That cheered up my existence for a spell.
