As a musician I'm an OK drummer. I'm average to below average at playing everything else. Fortunately, if you can beat out rhythms on a keyboard and into a computer sequence then all ya gotta do is move the right pitches into place for the desired melodic effect. I just went with an up and down motion as if I was a virtuoso player. Sort of painting a cartoon picture. Then I placed my frustrated screaming sample in the appropriate places. Which signified a period to end a phrase. This is the kind of thing some professors of electronic composition in collage would spend weeks on trying to line up the notes and get the right feel. It only took me about 5 minutes to execute and another 5 hours to orchestrate. Trying to keep the piece sounding immediate was my goal. Was I successful?
