A Side Order Of Globinhell & A Black Page Of Ionized Tomita Juice
This was originally an Akai stereo collage made up from Frank Zappa’s
The Black Page #1, Varese’s Ionization, and Tomita’s version of
Holtz’s The Planets. Fortunately for my wallet, you can’t hear any of
them in this version. In 1989 that piece was transfered to 8 track tape
and juxtaposed with Globinhell, (a piece I composed entirely on computer
and half randomly). The entire work is recapitulated ugly mess.
But as I am so quick to remind myself, death can sometimes be that
way. As the samples fade in and out, another era of my life sinks into
meaningless obscurity but this time at least, in a nice, neat, little
plastic package.
