An instrumental written while my mother spent a month in the hospital and nursing center with diverticulitis and a bad sciatica pain. The medical industry in the USA is wacky. Hospitals do not talk to each other and thus many procedures have to be re-done from one hospital to the next. Insurance coverage is often misunderstood between doctors and certain medicines are prescribed that are not necessarily needed for the patient at hand. Hopefully this piece sort of conveys the back and forth my sister and I went through before my mom was sorted out and back into her house. Nightmare.
