This little ditty was buried among a cassette full of improvisations and rehearsal tracks. I think it dates back to 1993. As soon as I woke up I went straight to the PF 70 keyboard that was next to my lumpy bed in the vocal booth and just plopped down a basic feeling of loneliness. There are plenty of bits like this one scattered through out the 90's cassettes. This was the most complete one I found.

Trying to find a lover in a haystack world
I know the future is uncertain
You never know when it’s time

Maybe what I want is waiting at home
I’ll be back in a day or two
Even if this loneliness decides to tell it’s story
At the books end awaits a new friend

Well, every drop of rain that falls to the ground
Finds it’s home at last
And every drop of pain that weighs on your brow
Will some day pass
Well, at least it seems that way to me
