This is what I wanted "So Inspired" to be. It was written after hearing Tears For Fears: "Everybody Wants To Rule The World". (Note Nick's vocal style). The verse and the hook were created on the acoustic guitar. I wanted a middle section so Nick improvised one. We went nuts orchestrating it alla Brian Wilson. I love the little piano line on the outro. It's quoting the melody from the verse. Nick's bass part is pretty funky and I think he played it in one take. He might have been a little buzzed at the time. The lyrics, I think, are some of the best I've ever written. I would love to do this song over again with a live kick ass band.
