A pleasant, straightforward love song influenced by Chris Pati's unreleased beautiful ballad "Only For You". The production was kept to a minimum and the emphasis was on the lyrics. Again, I was trying to reason out a relationship that I was so sure would work. It didn't. Eventually I came to grips with the situation. I freed myself from this constant inner pain that would eat at me when I wasn't recording tunes. I'm better now but feel awful about other things. WHEN DOES IT END MR. DiMAURO? WHEN DOES IT END?

This was another in a series of three written about Susan DeVita, culminating in 1991 with the 24-track work "Space In My Heart".
