The origins of this piece can be found on the CD : Go Figya. It is in fact part of the "Go Figya Montage". The melody and the words were just made up off the cuff back in 1996. Due to some folks saying they liked the idea and I should maybe make it into a complete song, I eventually took their suggestion and finished it in 2017. Some of the chorus chord progression may have been derived from an unfinished Nick DiMauro 8 track tune I called "Fagen Meets Ritchie". This was a basic r& b track that had an interview with Walter Becker and Donald Fagen talking to comedian Robert Klein woven in and out of it. This piece also inspired the song "Postcard and Places". I forgot how - but I'm pretty sure it did.

The little solo section is an excerpt of a longer melody I wrote for bouzouki. It can be found on the piece "Pre 911 DNA Roast / Montage",
from the CD "Straight From The Truancy Genes".
