MYSTERY JUXTA / MORE SEATTLE TALK

JT : (sings angrily) “I feel blessed!”

LT : What are we...
ND : We're on a... where are we 64?
LT : Yeah, we're on 64...
ND : Now wait, we're just coming off the...
JT : (singing) We're on 64
ND : So I just wanna know I'm gonna take like route 80 OK?
LT : OK.
JT : a thousand feet above the sea level darlin'...
ND : What is it?
LT : Flagstaff
ND : Flagstaff?
JT : If you don't know what you do...
ND : Alright so 180 is the place
JT : There's got to be a better place than London. Sorry.
ND : Is that a real tune?
JT : Nope.
JT / ND (singing in unison) : There's got to be a better place than London!

ND : I believe we are heading into a fortnight of "tumbulous" terror.
JT : Salt water disposal.
ND : Salt water disposal neck.
JT : Take a urine-natal sample.
ND : Have yourself some urine. (laughs)
JT : Don't drink all of it this time.
ND : Don't spit up on the cheese.
JT : The Cisco Kid!
ND : Awww..

(Instrumental mix of "This Man Called Harlan With Observing Mode" plays in the background.)

JT : (Mimicking the horn line to the song "Cisco Kid") Beh... Beh... Beh...
ND : This is our "Paul" portion of our program.
JT : Meh…Meh, Meh, Meh….
ND : What the fuck are you doin' John?
JT : I'm playing the Singapore, Sinatra Harmonica!
LT / ND (laughs)
ND : Can't you see what I'm doing you fool? I'm playing the Singapore, Sinatra Harmonica! And at my side is Pancho Mongo. Loading up his small guitar people so that they might ridiculate on some asphalt membrane.
JT : Thank you...
ND : And with that we bid you...
JT : Oh sock..
ND : We bid you a saul - a small smelly watermelon rapped up in hosiery that was used during the civil war to keep the Russians from invading China.
JT : (As the Priest) And as McKensie Phillips once said… PHILLIPS!
ND : (As the Priest) As McKensie PHILLIPS once said, “Oh my god somebody stuck a Black and Decker™… (laughs)
JT : (laughs)
ND : You know, I… I asked for a moose Phillip.
JT : (laughs)
ND : This… Look, come here. I wanna show you the difference. OK? C’mere. This’ll be easier if I illustrate it.
Look… Look outside. You see the tumble weeds? You see the thing moving. Groping next to the tumble weeds?
That’s a fucking moose. OK? This… This is a 1200 watt hair blower… (laughs)
JT : (laughs)
ND : Ya plug it in, ya blow yer hair! See what happens when you plug a moose in. (laughs)
JT : (laughs)
LT : (laughs)
ND : It’s self explanatory. When they get the stitches out, you’ll know what I’m talking about.

Scooby Watts : Well that reminds me of the time Daddy and I drove cross country just after the storm of 64 when everybody in the house had to leave because the basement hadn’t been redone yet and everybody had to find a place to stay or else the huge rains that always come down usually in Montana just before the monsoon season was like everybody had nobody would be able to go the huge state fair that was supposed to be going on till after they built that new fence that took us clean across country before the best white lines were laid down everybody went for a lard breakfast shoe store! Goodbye! Whoooo!
