This was the first song we had Karli Bonne sing on. She was a quick study and that kept the excitement going. There is a video my sister did about our use of the technology of the day and this song was all over it. That's how I remember it. We worked hard on the drum sound of this tune and consequently the patch bay looked like a rat's nest of gray cables. Ah, tiose were the analog days.

lyrics

NEW WAYS

All my life I've been tryin' so hard to believe
In a world with a strength of love you can't deceive
But somethin's tearing me apart
And I can't deny what's in my heart

NEW WAYS
To find that home that you've always known
NEW WAYS
To find the love you can call your own

All the time that's been wasted chasing selfish dreams
But I won't let things stay the same
And I just refuse to play this game

NEW WAYS
To find that home that you've always known
NEW WAYS
To find the love you can call your own
NEW WAYS
To find that home that you've always known
NEW WAYS
To find the love you can call your own

Through the years we gave up trying
Choosing to subsist
As we live so close to dying
One another
Hear each other
No I won't let things stay the same
'Cause there's just no future in this game

NEW WAYS
To find that home that you've always known
NEW WAYS
To find the love you can call your own
NEW WAYS
To find that home you can call your own
NEW WAYS
To find the love that you've always known
NEW WAYS
We've got to find
We've got find NEW WAYS
We've got find NEW WAYS
