This was the first song I wrote on the Chickering grand piano that resides in Suburban Hermit Studios III. Who it was written about is anybody's guess. The solo was challenging to execute.

lyrics

NOT A LOT HAS CHANGED

You used to speak in tongues - it drove me crazy
Just to piss my parents off on - Easter Sunday

You use to steal my cards - ran up a big bill
Played rough and beat the odds without a refill
Not a lot has changed
Not a lot has changed
No…

You put the roam in romance - left me on my own
Then you want a second chance - crying’ how you miss this home

The psycho ways you blow - still keep me reeling
Riddled with a code that’s got me feeling
Not a lot has changed
Not a lot has changed
No…
Not a lot has changed
No…

But I can’t seem to turn my back and leave you in the dust
I give you all my love
That’s not enough
You took from me my trust - what a fool I was
Could be a past life buzz
A payback baby

Not a lot has changed
No…
Not a lot has changed
No…
