One of many percussion orientated pieces I’ve written over the years. Though somewhat difficult, it’s actually playable. Plans for a live performance of it by the graduate school percussion ensemble at SUNY Stony Brook this summer is in negotiations.

The form of it is (A) and variation on (A). The instrumentation is vibes, xylophone, tuned garbage can lids, bass guitar, flute, drum kit and trombone.

This piece was intended for a ballet where in the dancers are in a big, clear, plexiglass salad bowl kicking around the greens, tossing the dressing and ultimately offering the end results to the audience.
