Ravenhood (The Lesser Things)

This instrumental was derived from some musical ideas my sister and I came up with when she was playing sax. It is complex ( chord wise) and in spots the beat turns around. It's one of my favorite pieces. Reggae, Zappa, corny jazz, Fagen changes, bassoon and just a bunch of stuff going on... That's me. The drums were played live. The title was a goof on Donald Fagen's touching instrumental "The Finer Things". (See the movie King of Comedy.) The subtitle might have come from a road in Kings Park or the name of the pencil used to write out the form and chord changes. ( Another Beta hi-fi farting mix that had a good blend.)
