I actually heard violinist Todd Reynolds practicing the opening lines to this piece in his bedroom one day. I was flattered. I must have played it a lot trying to get the right mix. He probably heard through the floor. It's very Zappa-esque and employs a melody that was eventually used for the song "The Holy Land Is My Ashtay".
