A breezy instrumental realized shortly after our trip to EPCOT Center in Orlando Florida. I believe there was an old version of Nick's "Let It Go" on tape. It was just the drum track. I put down some chords around the beat suggesting a form of sorts. Then the guitar melodies were added and that became the focal point of the piece. The Stevie Wonder harmonica sound was pre-programmed into the cheap Mirage sequencer and activated by finger at the appropriate times. Trombone was the last instrument used to fill in the sextet. The John Williams melody from one of my favorite movies "Close Encounters of the Third Kind"
( a pre-programmed sequence that came with the keyboard) represents the Disney marching band parading in front of you while you're listening to a bunch of musicians dressed up in candy striped apparel. I tried to capture that "live" out door sound by throwing in some bird samples and adding the Rev 7's live reference patch discreetly. If the performance was really live and Frank Zappa happened to walk by I imagine he'd say: "Yeah, sounds good." "You guys like playin' in bird shit or what?"
