SISTER QUINN IN DUMMYLAND

This Sister Quinn references had it’s origins right at this taping in 1981, in our old house in St. James. I can’t remember why exactly, but my sister Laura and I laughed very hard at the vision of an imaginary Sister Quinn with dark squirrels around her legs. We were pretty bored back then and any excuse to ramble incessantly into a tape machine (in this case Laura’s) was a joy. This silliness goes on for about an hour. It currently sits on a CD rom for future excerpts to be lifted when suitable.

SMALL MIDI CLOT IN BED #1

The small midi clot was just me tapping the Kensington Mouse while somehow triggering a Roland™ D-70 keyboard. What came out (orchestration wise) was anybody’s guess. Only the rhythms were determined. The piece is actually about four minutes long. I cut it up into three movements. The other two movements will find their way on to future CDs. Meanwhile, this blip acts as a quick break / switch into the next two tracks that were not done using the Casio CTK611.
