I wanna take you up in my balloon
I wanna take you up around the earth’s equator
Maybe write some lyrics for a tune
Anything but moping ‘round without a dollar
What the hell else is there to do?
I got no excuses to keep me grounded
Gravity is not the only rule
Hangin’ around always makes me nervous
Too many bugs sticking on the surface

I wanna take you up in my balloon
I wanna take you up to where the stars are brighter
This city tends to block the cosmic view
Too many scrapers and the air is filthy
What the hell are we suppose to do?
Wait by the phone for a muffin answer?
No one in particular to sue
Hangin’ around always makes me nauseous
Crossing the street every bone is cautious

Balloon opera man:

Fantasies are all around in bloom

JT:
I think this guy's a creep
I think he never sleeps
I think he can’t determine what’s real and from what’s inside his head....

JT pretending he's some dude from the movie "Putney Swope" says:

"I'm stacked up." "I'm gonna stay stacked up and I ain't com in' down for nobody."

I don’t need to bend another spoon
And I can’t concentrate with all this 60 cycle hum the hell am I suppose to do?
Sit on my ass in a padded broom cell
I’d rather take a ride in my balloon
Where we can debate over sky blue water
Floating above like an ozone quarter

JT : Ahh it's nice up here.

Out in the air we can scream and holler

Jim Dexter : Clean, fresh, balloon filled air.

JT : No one around for miles.

JD : Nope. A few birds here and there.

JT : Couple of marshmallows hanging in the air.

JD : Yeah, some other kind of craft. I don't know what that is.
And then a… Hey, hey, what's that guy doing?

JT : Is that the a… I think that's the opera guy.

JD : It's the opera… Yeah, the balloon opera guy!

JT : What the hell is he doing here?

JD : I don't know. What do you want?

JD : I think he's...

JT : What's the deal?

JD: He's waving.

JT : What?

JD : Can't hear ya.

JT : Ya getting' a little close!

JD : Yup.

JT : We we're just having - just trying to have a conversation here man!

JD : Ahh man, he's out of his mind!

JT : Get that friggin' thing out of here would ya?
