The Castrigno Polka

The title was derived from a waitress named Ruth Castrigno who worked at The Baja Grille in Smithtown. I felt a strong connection with her, like I had known her in a another life time. I asked her out around five times. I eventually got the gist she just wasn't interested. Smart move on her part. However, I was thinking of her as I edited this polka. That doesn’t really mean anything other than I now remember her name among hundreds of other faceless waitresses who have served me.

The main clarinet part was overdubbed in 2014 at Suburban Hermit Studios II.

This piece was not on the original 1998 release.
