Slowly building up to a real orchestral piece. The basic motif goes back to 1984. Movement 2 was programmed in 2011, using some half way decent orchestral samples and it reminds me a little of Frank Zappa’s work Pedro’s Dowry. Nowhere near as brilliant but sort of heading in that direction. Movement 1 was composed in 2015. I've been having a hard time dealing with trying to get my music played by outside musicians, especially in the academic, college circle. Perhaps I am fooling myself. Maybe my music just sucks. The jury is not out yet on that.
