This is a complete re-make of a song I had composed back in 1985 called "Need You Now". I always liked the melody and chords but was never fond of the words or the 8-track recording of it. So after many years of trying to re-do, it I gave up. Then as my collaborating with Peter started to get more comfortable I thought it might be cool to just give him a basic demo with the "Need You Now" melody and chord structure. He took it from there, never hearing the original idea. I love what he did with it and he's sings it better than I ever could.
