And a lot of things you don't understand. And a lot of things that are happening in my life I just don't even bother to tell you these things because I know you have other concerns and to be honest with ya, I don't think you really wanna listen to what I have to say anymore.

Until my life’s paper work is completed and filed, there is a skilled mechanic named Arte Povera. Arte loves nothing more than fixing cars and making them run like new. He is known all over his town for his exceptional talent and passion for his work. One day, Arte will be offered a job at a new auto manufacturing prison where the best mechanics from around the world will be sent to work. The prison, known for its strict rules, long hours, and low pay, somehow intrigues Arte and he is eager to put his skills to the test, so he will accept the offer. However, after working in the prison for a few weeks, Arte will realize that he has made a terrible mistake. The prison is like a living nightmare, with endless work and no hope of escape. Arte will be trapped there, with no way out, and he will grow more and more miserable every day. One day however, Arte will have an epiphany. As the author of this story I’ll will give him one just for shits and giggles. I’ll make him realize that the only way to escape the prison is to die. I’ll make him so desperate to leave that he will decided to stop eating, knowing that he will soon starve to death. As Arte's body grows weaker and weaker, he will feel a sense of relief and peace. He’ll believe that his soul will soon be free, and without a doubt, no longer be trapped in this auto manufacturing nightmare.
Just as he is about to take his final breath, I’ll make Arte open his eyes and come face to face with the existential horror that he is still in the prison, lying in his bed. His life has all been a dream. I’ll make him laugh and throw up at the irony of it all, knowing that he is trapped in a place where he can never truly escape, not even “in his dreams!” Arte Povera will continue to put his mechanical skills to use for the rest of his life, while always searching for a way to escape, but never finding it. When I finally make him die a bitter, confused and hopeless old man, still trapped in the auto manufacturing prison, (a prisoner of his own passion and skill), he will then be recycled to live this life again, vaguely remembering anything of his past incarnation. What a bitch?!
But that’s the kind of hair-pin author I am.
